Milo Sanchez has been fighting for the rights of the Hispanic Community for more than 10 years, and given many advices during all his years in radio. Better known as “Milo” he and his show have thousands of loyal listeners that have devoted a great respect for him throughout the years.

His dynamic action packed talk show has been the only one in the Denver-Boulder market and in Colorado since 1994. Gaining followers, knowledge, trust and expertise throughout the Rocky Mountain Region, Derecho Total keeps collecting the highest ratings in the market regarding of in which flag station is on.

As a licensed teacher, Milo received the title of accreditation as a radio announcer in 1983 in Mexico City while working as a teacher; and began his extensive career in radio.

With more than 20 years of experience, 5 years in his country (Mexico), combined with 16 years in the United States; primarily in Denver, Co.; he has functioned as Programming Director for two radio stations in the Denver-Boulder market.

In 1994, his career turned in to a different direction, from Programming Director to Host/Producer of his own talked show. Over the span of his career, Milo has helped thousands of listeners, and gained knowledge and expertise in a lot of areas.

He has been General Manager of KMMZ - 101.3 FM La Caliente in Odessa, Texas.

As a consumer advisor, Milo gives the best on every show; knowing that in the other end of the line or radio, somebody is in need of a friendly hand or advice; in a country where those hands are starting to disappear in the Hispanic Community.

Workers, mothers, business owners, teachers, executives, employees, and the entire community tune their radios for one hour to listen, participate, learn and a lot of times to help the listeners.

Milo resides in Denver, where he also participates in community events, fundraisers and charities; always looking for the benefit of others in the Hispanic Community. He spends his free time with family and friends. Also, he loves horseback riding, movies and good music.

Derecho Total was created to help and advice the Hispanic Community with consumer problems of all kinds. Hundreds of phone calls are taken every month and even though many of them not on the air during the show, Milo and his staff always returns the calls and try to guide or help the callers. Also, many times one advice or solution to one problem helps more than one listener.

With an extensive database of consumer information and referrals gained and evaluated over the years, Derecho Total has become a real counselor for the Hispanic Community and is the place to get quick answers to consumer questions or direct help in solving consumer problems.

While Milo is taking calls for a live broadcast, his staff is answering and screening all the calls to provide the most accurate information possible to all the listeners.

Derecho Total is on the air on 3 different states: Colorado, Texas and New Mexico. Milo and his staff will keep on helping and sharing with all Spanish-speakers in Denver.

Derecho Total is on the air Monday-Friday  for Colorado (1650 AM) from 11 AM - 12 PM MST and (1150 AM) from 2 PM - 3 PM MST.  For Texas (101.3 FM) and New Mexico (98.3 FM) from 2 PM - 3 PM CST.
